World Health Summit

Newsletter 10/2020: #WHS2020 Completely Digital

Dear friends,

Global Health and, of course, the personal health of the World Health Summit participants is our top priority!

Therefore, in the present situation, we decided to convert the World Health Summit 2020, which was planned as a hybrid meeting, into a purely digital event, due to the worsening situation in the Covid-19 pandemic. There will be no on-site events. No personal attendance on-site will be possible.

Participation in the World Health Summit 2020 (October 25.-27.) is completely online.

You can be part of each session via internet: All 50 keynote sessions, panel discussions and workshops will be broadcast live digitally. The individual Zoom links can be accessed cost-free and without registration at www.worldhealthsummit.org or directly in the program, where you also find all information on speakers and topics: www.conference.worldhealthsummit.org/Program/WHS2020.

We hope for a lively exchange and good discussions at the digital World Health Summit 2020. All participants are invited to use the Zoom Q&A function to ask questions and join the discussion.

The COVID-19 pandemic shows how essential international cooperation is. The World Health Summit as a leading meeting on global health is more important than ever. The digital format enables worldwide participation, active involvement and even wider outreach.

We look forward to the World Health Summit 2020 Digital!

Stay healthy and stay safe.

What are the (new) challenges people in low-and middle-income countries face, and how can we ensure that the most vulnerable are not left behind?
