Dear friends,

We have exciting good news for you:

We are very happy to announce the new date for the World Health Summit Regional Meeting in Uganda, which sadly had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting will take place next year on June 27-30, 2021 in Uganda's capital Kampala, organized by M8 Alliance member Makerere University in partnership with the Government of Uganda. Please mark the new date in your calendars.

You will find more details on the meeting below – and of course on our website. Also on our website you’ll find all updates on the World Health Summit in October in Berlin. Preparations are going very well: The Program Planner is now available online, so we encourage you to have a look at the important topics that will be covered as well as the high-level speakers we will be welcoming.

We are positive that the World Health Summit 2020 with its mixture of interactive online and on-site participation will be a success. Moreover, we believe that forums like the World Health Summit are more important than ever given the immense global challenges in health we are facing today.

Please remain healthy and keep safe,
