Dynamic and modern yet respectful of its architectural heritage, Montreal successfully blends the old with the new. A trip through the past in Old Montreal and the Old Port lets you witness the origins and the growth of the former colony. Museums and historical sites alternate with irresistible bistros in an atmosphere of yesteryear.
Today, the city is home to some 3.4 million inhabitants from no less than 80 different ethnic groups. Montreal lives up to its reputation as an international city.

World Health Summit Berlin 2017: New Location
(c) Kosmos
The World Health Summit 2017, held from October 15-17 in Berlin, will be held at a new location this year: the popular Kosmos event center in the heart of the city.
Inaugurated in 1961, Kosmos was the largest, most modern and most popular film theatre in the former GDR. Fitting in perfectly with the architectonic ensemble on the Karl-Marx-Allee, the largest single collection of historical buildings in Germany, it quickly became a popular event location after restoration.
