We congratulate our M8 Alliance Partner Kyoto University, Kyoto/Japan, that their academic member Tasuku Honjo will be awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2018 together with James P. Allison (USA) for their discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation.
